This includes PALS recertification and intial PALS training for doctors, nurses, and EMS personnel (primarily but not limited to Paramedics). Similar to ACLS, our PALS courses cover pharmacology and follow a systematic approach to patient management, including the PALS treatment algorithms.
Milwaukee PALS Classes Include:
- Team dynamics
- BLS skills such as 1 and 2-rescuer child/infant CPR and AED
- Respiratory emergencies
- Rhythm disturbances and electrical therapy
- Vascular access
- Discussions and simulations on cardiac, respiratory, and shock
Milwaukee PALS classes can range from 1 to 9 students. Healthline will travel throughout WI, including Milwaukee, Waukesha and Racine, for Wisconsin PALS classes as well, but travel expenses will be included in the total class cost.
What is PALS Certification?
PALS training offers first aid and CPR training using simulations of pediatric emergencies. Healthcare providers will learn to respond using assessment, BLS training (basic life support training), and emergency medicine.
